SMILE MAKEOVER
At Northlake Dental, we can restore your smile to its former glory or take your already beautiful smile to new heights with veneers, crowns, and bonding. Our smile makeover is custom-tailored to your oral environment and smile, in order to improve esthetics while removing the least amount of healthy tooth structure possible. We utilize advanced digital smile design simulations to make sure our patients like the plan before committing to a certain style or shade.
VENEERS
Dental veneers can fix many cosmetic problems, including small teeth, stained teeth, gaps, etc. Veneers are the most conservative option and thus our favorite choice when applicable. Some select veneer cases can even be done without drilling on a single tooth.
ESTHETIC CROWNS
When teeth are too worn or have existing large fillings, we sometimes need to use crowns in our smile makeovers. Our crowns and veneers are made with the same esthetic porcelain or zirconia, the only difference being the amount of tooth reduction.
BONDING
Cosmetic Bonding is similar to veneers, though we utilize tooth-colored resins to improve overall esthetics. This can also sometimes be done without any drilling on the natural tooth structure.
BLACK TRIANGLE TREATMENT
Black Triangles are the space between teeth that have lost bone and/or tissue. These spaces are sometimes highly noticeable in the smile. The most common solution is a specialized type of bonding with the BioClear system.
BLEACHING
In-office and take-home bleaching options are available at Northlake Dental. Bleaching can only be done on natural teeth and will not change the shade of existing restorations. Bleaching causes no damage whatsoever to the tooth and provides an instantaneous improvement in the shade of natural teeth.
CLEAR ALIGNERS
Northlake Dental can provide clear aligner therapy in conservative cases to improve esthetics and crowding. Aligners are also frequently used in smile makeovers to create a harmonious bite for conservative preparations and long-lasting restorations.
