Meet Dr. Shannon Allison
Dr. P. Shannon Allison earned his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 1988. He then entered the U. S. Army on active duty from 1988-1992. During this time, he served our country in Operation Desert Storm with the 3rd Special Forces Group in Kuwait. Meet Dr. Brandon Allison
Dr. Allison is a graduate from LSU School of Dentistry. He was awarded the Comprehensive Dentistry and Prosthodontic Dentistry Awards for the Dental Class of 2019. Dr. Allison is recently married to Dr. Blades and plans to raise his family in the Mandeville area. He enjoys sports of all kinds, especially basketball and football. Dr. Allison loves to be outdoors, hunting, camping and mountain biking.
Meet Dr. Jacee Blades
Dr. Blades is a graduate from LSU School of Dentistry. She was born and raised in Baton Rouge, but loves to call Mandeville home. Dr. Blades is married to Dr. Brandon Allison. She played softball at LSU earning All-SEC and All-Louisiana honors. She loves to be outdoors working in her garden, going to the beach, and being on the water.

General Dentistry
Crowns are full coverage restorations that are used to cover a tooth that is likely to break, or is too broken down to be restored with a filling. They are most commonly done after root canal treatment, or when a large filling wears out. The larger the hole made by a cavity that has to be treated, the more likely a crown will be needed. Cosmetic Dentistry
Anything done to correct imperfections in the appearance of the mouth is considered Cosmetic Dentistry. Anyone who is unhappy with their smile can have it fixed. The upper teeth show, usually, only when smiling, while the lower teeth often remain hidden. This is reversed when talking, with the upper teeth remaining hidden while the lower teeth show.
Advanced Procedures
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available — complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
Dentures are made to closely resemble your natural teeth so there should be only a small noticeable change in appearance. In fact, dentures may even improve your smile and fill out your facial appearance.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a slip and fall accident that resulted in the cracking of two of my front teeth. I was able to schedule an appointment in just a few days to repair my teeth. Dr. Brandon Allison performed the repairs, and they are so good that you can't tell my teeth were ever badly chipped. I've had dental work done in the past by doctors Shannon Allison and Jorge Perrera, and have always been more than satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend Northlake Dental for all of your dental needs!
