Meet Dr. Allison
Dr. P. Shannon Allison earned his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 1988. He then entered the U. S. Army on active duty from 1988-1992. During this time, he served our country in Operation Desert Storm with the 3rd Special Forces Group in Kuwait. Dr. Allison is recently retired from the National Guard in support of 20th Group Special Forces. Since 1992, Dr. Allison has been practicing General Dentistry in Mandeville, LA. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Northlake Dental Association. He is an active volunteer providing dental services during mission trips to Burma, Sudan, Guatemala, Haiti, Iraq, and Syria. Dr. Allison serves on the Board of Directors for Christ School (Arden, NC) and Free the Oppressed (Free Burma Rangers). Dr. Allison enjoys cycling, ultramarathon running, and restoring old cars. He resides in Mandeville with his wife and 4 children, and is an active member of his church and community.

Meet Dr. Perera
Dr. Perera received his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 1990. Following graduation, he completed a year of advanced education in General Dentistry from LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Perera practiced general dentistry in Metairie for 12 years, from 1993 until August of 2005. During his first 7 years of private practice, Dr. Perera held a part-time faculty teaching position at LSU School of Dentistry. He earned a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Perera resides in Mandeville with his wife and 2 children. He is a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church. He has been a long distance runner for over 30 years and more recently enjoys cycling.
